Nickname Memory

I just read that Karl Allemroder's nickname was Karlchen, which makes me believe that everyone had a nickname. I know I had a nickname. I'm not really sure if people used it to my face though. One could have been Rittchen, which would have been after I got my captains rank, and the other one that I know for certain was my nickname, which makes me grit my teeth a little is Freiherrchen. I may have deserved that since I'm pretty sure that I came up with Kurt Wolff's nickname.
