Waiting Memory
I'm looking down at my uniform. The sun is out and it feels good as I stand somewhere outside on the grass that is damp from a morning's rain. The sun has broken through and the air is fresh and clean. I don't know what I'm doing. I am just standing with my hands in my pockets. I look out across the field and I squint from the sun. It is very bright. It looks like it is about 9 am in the morning. I can see trees and buildings to the southeast. Big fluffy clouds are still in the sky and have that threatening grey blue look about them. To my right and west the sky is dark and stormy.

If I turn around completely, I see a large building, barn like in nature. It has to be a hangar of some kind. I see other people, pilots, and mechanics. Planes too. I get the impression that I'm waiting for instruction from someone. This is before I had a command. When I turn back to the southeast, the clouds are moving swiftly and close over the sun and it is all dark and stormy again. There are low rolling hills to the east and to the west I can not see. I'm not sure where I am. The ground of the field is fairly flat evenly and the grass is very short as if it had been mowed or animals had been grazing upon it.

I feel like I am waiting for someone. A picture from my collection comes comes to mind. I'm holding a piece of paper and reading it with someone. Maybe that's a clue to the time or place.
