Awake and Restless Memory
I'm lying in bed. The room is dark except for light coming through the window that must have the moon or an outside lamp near it. I look up at the ceiling that is white painted boards. I can see the trunks placed at the foot of the bed. They are all dark in color. The whole room seems to glow in shades of blue. The floor is also wood. I'm running a mix of emotions. I'm wide awake and restless. I'm a little lonely for special companionship, but otherwise in a good mood. I believe it is Margret's companionship that I crave. Moritz is on the floor on top of a rug. He is a little big to sleep on the bed with me though when it is very cold, I'm glad to give up what precious leg room I have to him. Once again I can not name the place or time except that I do have Moritz. This place makes me think of a bombing raid that came close and woke me from a sound sleep.
