Another Sexual Prank Memory
I was lying on my back tied down somewhere. It almost looks like a barn? My uniform jacket is opened along with my shirt. People are standing over me. I can see the boots that are obviously of my own men. There is more to this memory, but it is rather naughty of the pilots' part and I'm not sure if I should share anymore of these pranks. We did a lot of silly stuff to relieve our feelings of homesickness, fear, or loneliness. I guess some of it would be considered sick, but in defense of ourselves, we did our best to be a team and look out for each other in the sky as well as on the ground.

Most of us were barely into manhood when this war started, and acting like boys sometimes helped us forget that we could die the next day. I know that some of the things we did may seem sick or unbelieveable, but it wasn't done because we were perverts or men of questionable character, it was done for the reasons I have mentioned above. The social norm that has been written in our modern text books do not follow the attitudes of all the people of the day. The women were not prissy females afraid to have sex with their boyfriends and husbands. None of them were closing their eyes and thinking of the Fatherland. They wanted to be with us and to make love. We were not afraid of being sexual beings. We were healthy Germans that loved life. Most of us wanted to have a wife and children. I know I did, and I looked forward to the end of the war and having a family of my own.
