I have been told and I do get the impression that this was my first life here on this world. A friend of mine that is alive currently and remembers much, remembers me being there. He was a she back then. We both held an important position in an annual ritual that required certain results that would mean prosperity for the community of Crete. She would wander through a giant maze. I would dress as a minotaur and would have to catch her and make love to her. I had to get her pregnant. If she became pregnant that meant another year of prosperity for the community. It was also explained to me that Crete was one of the best civilizations to be a female in. Why? Because women were treated as equals in Crete during that time. This is basically the information that my friend shared with me.
My impressions of this time were that I was from a family of wealth and status. I enjoyed my duty as minotaur and took it seriously. What man wouldn't? I know that I was chosen to take the place of another at a fairly early age about 13? and I held the position for a long time. You held the position as long as you wished but one had to keep in mind that performance was mandatory and it meant the well being of the community.

As a child these pictures caught my eye and when my friend spoke of Crete, it all seemed to fit in with the way my memories were clued into the past. I had always thought that the women in these pictures to be extra pretty and I liked their dresses, which seems kinda unusual in middle class 1960's America. These pictures come from a book called Life in the Ancient World by Winer.
