Man Named Zanzibar

Jasta 11 was full of practical jokers. If something went "missing" or something "broke", we would blame it on the invisible man. From what I remember we called him Zanzibar.  I asked Manfred in this life about it, and he remembered an invisible man that caused trouble.  According to him his name wasn't Zanzibar.

We got the name Zanzibar from two two seaters (F.E.2b). Manfred shot down "Zanzibar 10" and Lothar shot down "Zanzibar 8" 11 days later.  I remember asking what Zanzibar is. Nobody knew.  As it turns out Zanzibar is an island country off of Eastern Africa.
