Memories of Home-Teenager

"I am getting ready to go out to a formal event, I believe at a friend's house.  I am looking in a huge oval, wooden mirror as I get dressed. 

I am getting ready to leave.  I can hear my family in other parts of the house.  I am noticing my appearance.- - I look like I'm in my teens. 

 I am wearing black trousers and a white shirt- also a dark tie.  I feel awkward though I am reasonably comfortable attending formal events."
