Wake up memory

I'm lying down face up in uniform with the front of my tunic partially unbuttoned, legs crossed, boots still on, on a bed in a room that I believe is a guest room. The bed is either brass frame or wooden sleigh style. The image keeps flip flopping on me.  I'm resting, not asleep yet and I hear the door open. I hear someone come in and I peek an eye open to see who it is. I see a woman quietly close the door. I act like I'm asleep and she gentle nudges me to wake me up. I hear her say my name softly. I still pretend to be asleep and she tries harder to wake me up until I can no longer control the expression on my face.

I open my eyes to see her looking down at me. She has brown hair, soft and swept up. Her skin was creamy white and her eyes were dark green that twinkled. She is the same woman in the group family photo taken at the Voss household. She sits to my left next to Frau Voss. After she woke me up, I got up and started to button my tunic and went out the bedroom door with her. She went ahead of me down the stairs as I still worked on the buttons. We talked and joked as went.

She stopped at the middle landing and watched me come down the stairs. She was smiling and when I got down where she was, I leaned towards her and made some flirtatious remark, which made her smile even more. That, of course, pleased me. I moved down next to her on the second part of the stairway and gently put my hand on her shoulder. We went down the stairs together into another hallway that was much darker and had a window at the end of it. It was late afternoon. I would know this place if I were to see it again. As we walk down the hall I am telling her some kind of story and she seems to be amused by my story telling.
