Waltzing Memory While listening to a couple of pieces of music from the Fledermouse, I had this image come to mind..... A large ballroom full of people dancing. It was a quick waltz or maybe even a polka. I was dancing with a lady dressed in white. She had blondish brown hair and was wearing it up with curls. She had feathers or something like that in her hair. She wore pearls, white long gloves, and the dress had no sleeves and have a V shaped neck. I think she was about 30 or 40 years old. I seem to be fixated on the fact that she has a long pointed nose and seems to refuse to look me in the eye while we are dancing. She seems rather frigid to me. Not that she was my type. I was wearing my dress uniform, which was either black or a very dark navy blue. She seemed to be an adequate dancer, but not very friendly. The ballroom is unclear because I am moving around in this memory but I get the impression of a white molding and light blue wall paper and gold plating on various spots in the rooms decor. This is obviously a formal occasion. |
